Southern Baptist Bible Kicks Jesus out of Heaven.
For many yerars it has been known that the New International Version (NIV) kicks the Lord Jesus Christ out of heaven by replacing "Lucifer" with "morning star" in Isaiah 14:12. The "morning star" is, of course, Jesus Christ, according to Revelation 22:16. Now with their new Christian Standard Bible (CSB), the Southern Baptist have decided to do the same....
Revelation 22:16 (CSB): I, Jesus have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the churches. I am the root and descendant of David, the bright morning star.
Isaiah 14:12 (CSB): Shining morning star, how you have fallen from the heavens! You destroyer of nations, you have been cut down to the ground.
No, it is Lucifer who falls from heaven, not the morning star!
